About FACES 

FACES, Hilton Head Island’s award-winning Day Spa, has been an Island tradition since 1983. It is conveniently located on William Hilton Parkway, the island’s main thoroughfare, in the popular upscale shopping plaza known as the Village at Wexford.

FACES is one of the largest day spas on the Carolina coast and one of the most comprehensive in the entire Southeast. It occupies a luxurious 3,000 square feet that includes six soundproof spa treatment rooms, a wet room with hydrotherapy tub, a steam room and locker room with sauna, a serene Relaxation Lounge and a chemical-free nail studio. In addition, FACES offers a full range of day spa services and packages for individuals or groups.

Reminiscent of a European Apothecary, FACES retail departments include aromatherapy, bath and body items and top selling professional cosmetic lines such as Murad, Eminence Organics, Strivectin, Freeze 24/7, Osea, and OPI. FACES also offers an exclusive private label line of SignatureSkincare and CustomColour mineral makeup as well as a signature bath and body collection with their Just Relax! label. Kashware robes, trendy home décor and whimsical gifts round out the eclectic retail mix.

Over the years, FACES has been recognized with numerous awards and honors which include being named the 2009 and 2007 Southeastern regional finalist for the U. S. Chamber’s Small Business of the Year award, the 2006 Small Business of the Year for South Carolina, the first place runner up for the 2005 South Carolina Small Business of the Year, and the 1996 Hilton Head Island Small Business of the Year. FACES was also named one of the nation’s 60 Blue Ribbon Winners by the U.S. Chamber for 2009, 2008, 2007 and 2006.

In 2003, FACES was awarded the SpaWish Gold Symbol of Excellence and has been a member of the prestigious International Spa Association for the past six years. Salon Today Magazine named FACES DaySpa one of the fastest growing salons and spas in the nation five times. FACES DaySpa won “Best Day Spa, Best Massage and Best Manicure/Pedicure in the Island Packet Reader’s Choice awards for four years in a row and was voted “Favorite Island Spa” by the readers of Monthly magazine three times.

FACES regularly receives worldwide media attention and was included in Allure magazine’s “A List”, Vogue magazine’s “Best of the Carolinas” feature and Elle magazine’s “Beauty Hot Spots”. Internationally, FACES was chosen to be featured, along with photos, in a front page article on anti-aging in the Yomiuri Shimbun, the Japanese newspaper with the world’s largest circulation. Salon Today magazine listed FACES’ Golf  Widow’s Revenge spa package as one of the top 100 signature spa services in the nation. Other mentions have included the Wall Street Journal, Golf for Women magazine, South Carolina magazine, Orlando magazine, Naples Illustrated and Today’s Chicago Woman magazine. FACES also has been the focus of feature articles in a number of national trade publications such as Pulse magazine, Day Spa magazine, SALON TODAY magazine and Skin Inc. magazine.
